Yesterday Xiaomi officially unveiled the latest MIUI 11 for the Xiaomi Smartphone. With the launch of Mi 9 Pro and Mi Mix Alpha phones Xiaomi showcases the first look of MIUI 11. Xiaomi has announced the list of devices which will get the latest MIUI 11 update. The closed beta release of the latest MIUI is available for early testers, but the open beta will release on the September 27 for some Xiaomi devices.
MIUI 11 brings several changes to Xiaomi’s UX skin, new features, New AOD, Dark mode, and many more features. In some devices, you will get the Android 10 OS with MIUI 11. MIUI 11 also brings along a feature that mimics the Horizon Light feature from the OnePlus 7 Pro. Which will be available for some devices. Another big new addition in MIUI 11 is the enhanced audio experience with all-new dynamic natural sound effects and alarms.
Features of New MIUI 11
As we mentioned above that new MIUI 11 comes with lots of UI changes and packed with some new advanced features. Here are the list of some new features which you will see on the new MIUI 11.
a) New Fonts
One of the highlights of this update is the use of a new font called MiLan Pro. Yes, the new OS comes with the new fonts. Here is the preview of the fonts how its look on your Xiaomi MIUI 11 devices.
b) New AOD Screens
The next main features of the MIUI 11 is AOD display screen, which is available on some Xiaomi devices. On supported devices, you can now choose from various animated watch faces which can feature designs and patterns. Not only this you can edit them too as per your choice.
c) Dark mode and New Icons
Form long most of the Xiaomi fan are waiting for the Dark mode. Now the Dark mode is activated in MIUI 11. There are also new animations, themes, wallpapers and improved notification system. Also you will some new icons on your home screen.
d) Dialer
The Dialer app has a much more minimal design. It looks totally different form MIUI 11. See the screenshot below.

The closed beta release of MIUI 11 is already available for users signing up through WeChat, while its open beta will debut on September 27.
